These Terms apply to the medicarebroker.ai website and the Medicare Broker mobile app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who we are

Medicare Broker LLC builds and runs the Service. It is a technology company and does not sell insurance or give insurance advice. Plan recommendations, enrollment help and all other insurance services are provided by J.B. Barron LLC, a licensed insurance agency, and its licensed agent. License details are on our Licenses & Disclosures page.

We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

The Service is free to you

You do not pay us to use the app, to talk with an agent, or to enroll. J.B. Barron LLC is paid by the insurance companies whose plans it helps people enroll in. Your premium is the same whether or not you use us.

What the Service does and doesn't do

• The app collects your answers so J.B. Barron LLC's licensed agent can compare the plans it offers in your area. We do not offer every plan available in your area.

• Recommendations depend on the accuracy of your answers and on plan information from insurance companies, which can change.

• You make the final decision. Before you enroll, review the plan's official documents, such as the Summary of Benefits and Evidence of Coverage.

• Enrollment is final only when the insurance company approves it.

• The Service is available only in states where J.B. Barron LLC is licensed.

Using the Service

• You must be 18 or older.

• Give accurate information, and keep your login secure.

• If you use the Service to help someone else, you must have their permission. The person with Medicare must take part in the call and agree to any enrollment.

• Don't misuse the Service: no false information, no attempts to access other people's information, and no interfering with how the Service works.

Scheduled calls

Before any call, you complete a Scope of Appointment form that says which types of plans you want to discuss. The agent will discuss only those plan types unless you agree otherwise. Calls are recorded as Medicare requires. You can cancel or reschedule at any time.

Our content

The Service, including its text, design, logo and software, belongs to Medicare Broker LLC. You may use it only for your own personal, non-commercial use.

App store terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for any warranty, product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims about the app; Medicare Broker LLC is responsible for those.

Links to other websites

The Service may link to other websites, such as Medicare.gov or an insurance company's site. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but we provide it "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under insurance laws or that the law does not allow us to limit.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Resolving disputes

• Talk to us first. Email bradford@jbbarron.com and describe the problem. We'll try to resolve it within 30 days.

• Small claims court. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court in the county where you live.

• Arbitration. Other disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, held by phone, video or in the county where you live. We will pay the filing and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court.

• No class actions. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or group.

• You can opt out of arbitration. Email bradford@jbbarron.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with your name and the words "arbitration opt-out." Opting out won't affect your use of the Service.

Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete the app at any time. We may suspend access if someone misuses the Service.

Changes to these Terms

If we make important changes, we will update the effective date and give notice on the website.

Apple and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
